Bone Regeneration
This is my favorite case of them all. This 54 year old male patient was told by his dentist that he would need to have a minimum of 6 teeth extracted, including this one in the front of his mouth. Over the course of 15 months, we were able to save all of his teeth except for one. (We elected to extract his back molar on the upper right… not because we couldn’t save it, but because he was already missing his back molar on the lower right. There was no point in trying to save it since there was no tooth opposing it.)
Back to the front tooth with bone loss way past the apex of the root… This tooth was so loose that he could have easily pulled it out with his fingers. I didn’t think that I would be able to save it. We treated him with the TLC© protocols, and nine months later, most of the bone had regenerated. I performed root canal therapy on him, and at 15 months into the treatment took another x-ray. To this day, he continues to get bone regeneration around this and his other teeth.

Many people think that once bone is lost… it never grows back. That is not true. Here is a case of a 69 year old male who was informed that he was going to lose several of his front teeth including this one with severe bone loss. 16 months later, not only did we get a significant amount of bone regeneration and save his teeth, we put veneers on them to give him a nicer smile.

Here’s a thirty-something year old female who was informed that she needed to have all four of her upper front teeth extracted and replaced with implants. Not only were we able to save all four teeth, we were able to get a significant amount of bone regeneration. We were also able to get her teeth to shift back together and we eliminated the gap in her smile.

This woman’s tooth was so loose, she was afraid that it could fall out at any time. We stabilized it, performed root canal therapy on it and we were able to regenerate a significant amount of bone with the TLC© protocols.

Here’s another case of bone regeneration. This 70 year old male patient was informed by his dentist that the only option he had was to extract this tooth with severe bone loss. Within 6 months we were able to regenerate most of the bone and he got to keep his tooth.

Here’s a case of a 76 year old male patient who was told by his dentist and his periodontist that he would have to have this tooth extracted and have it replaced with an implant. 11 months later we regenerated a large amount of bone, performed root canal therapy on the tooth and saved it.
